The 20th National Givre Congress https://givre.it/event/xx-congresso-nazionaleroma-4-6-aprile-2019/ will be held this year in Rome at the Auditorium della Tecnica in Viale Tupini, 65. On Friday 5 April 2019, 1.30 p.m., the Symposium will be held in Congress Hall H. 'What we have achieved with the CONTINUOUS MICRODOSING in the real life of patients with DME'
Professor Midena will moderate, who will also be in charge of patient framing, focusing in particular on 'early swicth' from intravitreal anti-VEGF therapy to corticosteroid therapy.
The other speakers will be Professor Augustin, an internationally renowned retinologist, who will talk about the three-year data (currently being published) of the RETRO IDEAL study conducted at his facility in Germany.
This will be followed by Dr. Lattanzio who will talk about the experience of EMD cases treated with fluocinolone acetonide at the San Raffaele Hospital, with almost 24 months of follow-up.
Prof. Michele Reibaldi will conclude by talking about his experience with naive patients, emphasising the safety aspects.
This will be a highly topical Symposium of interest to retinologists.
