The AICCER appointment with the most prestigious Italian experts in cataract and refractive surgery.
Rome between 11 and 12 March hosted the elite of Italian eye surgery for the most important event of the year: the AICCER 2016 Congress.
This year's venue was the 'A. Gemelli' University Polyclinic Foundation of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart.
The role of host was played by Prof. Aldo Caporossi, Director of the Gemelli Foundation Institute of Ophthalmology.
The programme of scientific sessions and live surgeries is very rich.
Among the many interesting events, we would like to tell you about the Symposium 'Cataract World: stress the experts', which was a great success.
The symposium was set up with an interactive format, which was very useful in order to provoke debate among colleagues on the various types of management difficulties one may encounter in daily clinical and surgical practice.
Each presenter presented a clinical case on which all others were invited to suggest a management approach.
In conclusion, the speaker revealed the solution actually adopted.
