The new volume offers an updated overview of the contents of Volume 1 'Age-Related Macular Degeneration', which inaugurated our series in 2012.

The chapters on Aetiology, Classification, Diagnosis and Treatment provide a comprehensive and in-depth overview of current knowledge on AMD.

In particular, a comprehensive overview of the substances used for intravitreal therapy of AMD and their optimal dosage regimen is proposed.

Chapters have also been added that explore new and topical issues: Covid-19 and the retina, artificial intelligence, and the legal aspects of administering intravitreal therapies.

The monograph 'Age-Related Macular Degeneration - update' is reserved for ophthalmologists and will be distributed in printed format during 2023.

The book is directly accessible, in digital format, on a dedicated platform, with access reserved for the medical profession Contents | YourSIFI.
